Ira Kotch, DMD, FAGD, FICOI, PA
Dr. Ira M. Kotch was born and raised in New York City. At the age of 12 his family relocated to South Florida. After graduating from North Miami Beach Senior High School, Dr. Kotch attended the University of Florida. He received a Bachelors of Science in Chemistry in 1980, and a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in 1984.
After graduation from dental school, Dr. Kotch completed a General Practice Residency at The Dade County Dental Research Clinic. This consisted of 3 months of surgical training at Jackson Memorial Hospital.
Continuing education has always been very important to Dr. Kotch. Thousands of hours of continuing education have been completed over the last 25 years of practice.
Dr. Kotch received a Fellowship from the Academy of General Dentistry in 1990.
A second Fellowship was awarded by the International Congress of Oral Implantologists in 1999.
Dr, Kotch is a graduate of The Misch Impant Institute in Detroit, Michigan. Dr. Carl Misch is the one of the leading experts in the field of implantology.
